"I've been a huge Thorlo fan for over 30 years, from when I first discovered Moderate Cushion Crew Hiking Socks at REI. I've been wearing many different sorts of Thorlos for various situations ever since. I few years ago Thorlo briefly made, then discontinued, walking socks with this same yarn blend which I loved so much that I ended up buying 9 pairs that I wore every day all winter day. When my oldest pairs of acrylic/polyester Moderate Cushion Crew Hiking Socks started wearing through and I went to the website to shop for replacements I found these, which are even more comfortable and warm. I now wear them now, mixed in with the discontinued merino blend walking socks every day through winter. The only improvement I can imagine would be if they washed themselves."
