"These socks have outlasted every single other pair of hiking socks I have ever bought. In the early 2000s, I bought 6 pairs for a summer of hiking trips then wore them for ten more summers working as a greenskeeper. The socks are over 20 years old now and still hold their shape and no thin spots or holes. I would say that I'd definitely buy them again but, at this rate, I might never have to replace them. Only criticism is that I wish they came in more colors."

"These hiking socks are comfortable and fit well, and I like the heather slate blue color. I especially like that I can cuff them comfortably without the cuff being too tight on my leg. The underside of the sock which shows when I cuff them looks finished, rather than looking like the "wrong side" of the sock like it does with most other brands. My only small complaint is that I wish there were more colors available."

"These are the best socks I've ever worn. They are so cushioned and they hug my feet, offering support without feeling tight. They have no irritating seams, they do not shrink, and they last a long time. I've been buying this particular sock for many years now, they're the only socks I wear anymore with all my painful foot problems. I really miss the navy color, though, I wish they would bring that back. I love these socks so much that I'm scared Thorlo will get bought out and discontinue them, it seems to happen to every brand I love these days. Please don't let that happen, Thorlo!"

"I began buying Thorlo moderate cushion hiking socks decades ago. The quality hasn't changed one bit, and they continue to stand the test of time. I wouldn't choose any other sock for spring/summer/fall hiking. I also wear them around the house with slippers, and sometimes for cross-country skiing on warm winter days. Highly recommend!"
