"The thickness and placement of the cushioning is a good design for the diabetic sock choice. The tennis option is very similar except it does have padding on top of the toes running up halfway of the top of the foot halfway to the ankle. Great for tennis player & tennis shoes ,but needs significant additional space requirement within your shoe housing."

"These are the most comfrotable socks I have ever found for my thck ankles. My ankles aren't massive, but most socks are much too tigh, leaving deep grooves that take time to "de-compress" after I take them off. I will order another 5 pair soon. My feet are size 14, and even these in X-Large could be a little longer in the foot. Also, they would be perfect if they were even looser still in the ankle. I wonder if they could be made stiffer so that looser wouldn't leave them flopping down. But they are the best i have found! Thank you, Thorlo!"
